FRAUDULENT WIRE!!!
I wired $28,000.00 into Williams Escrow account / Betsy Williams and she wired funds to Guatemala city without consent or confirmation of the end user.....
I am now fighting to get my monies back and have been avoided at every turn by Betsy and her attorney Webb.
We have been in the business for over 20 years and have never seen anything like it!
Their attorney has been stonewalling us for months, then last week they change attorneys.
Betsy will not return calls or share information, or even really explain where the money went?
It took the Aspen Police Department months to acquire information from Williams Title. We have a contract that states all escrow monies to be refunded if the deal does not close and they did not close in April as agreed, its now end of July!
We have since hired an attorney and are pursuing this bizarre ordeal with Williams Title.

As a Licensed Real Estate Broker for more than 22 years, I have had the greatest pleasure working with Williams Title catalyzing over 100 transactions, both HUD and traditional retail closings over the years. Williams Title always accorded myself, buyers, and sellers with the utmost respect, unequivocal professionalism, and unparalleled service. The Staff have always been very friendly, and highly knowledgeable. Since I have had the pleasure of working with Williams Title even before they were a Title Company and was A Designated Closing agent for HUD, It's been nothing short of "A+" service. Early on I learned that the concerns we may have had, was not Williams Title, it was the requirements HUD mandated for their closings. I personally salute the hard and dedicated work Williams Title staff does, and have done. It was not by accident they have been the Top HUD closing agent for several years. They earned it!!!

For the past eight years as a Mortgage Lender, Williams Title has given my buyers exceptional service and actually on one occasion they stepped in to assist us with HUD on the HUD Home Contract. Their knowledge on HUD Home Contracts is best in the city because they were the exclusive title company for all HUD Home Contracts. You can't ask for better service than theirs and the know-how on HUD Home Contracts.
In addition, my refinance clients have chosen Williams Title as their title company during their refinance process. On each occasion, Williams Title went overboard on service and even sent the Closer to the home of my refinance client at 8pm to accommodate the borrower's work schedule.
When a buyer has a choice in which title company to use in Colorado... they should truly consider and use Williams Title. They will be happy to have found such a reputable company and have received fantastic service.

I have known and worked with Williams Title for many years, what an amazing group of people. My experience with Williams Title has always been outstanding, I can't imagine using anyone else! I have seen them go above and beyond on my own transactions as well as others. I highly recommend them for all your Title and Escrow needs.
