Shrimp is fresh and tasted, but a bit expensive: 19 euro for 5 shrimps. The noodle is great, I enjoyed it. Over all, it's a decent place for dinner.

We stayed at the nearby Hotel City Center on the last night of our visit, because we wanted an early taxi to the airport, which is a direct shot away. The hotel was very comfortable, but the restaurant reviews were mixed, so we opted for Alcuza, which began seating at 8:30. The neighborhood, as stated elsewhere, is unprepossessing, but the service and food were excellent. Despite his limited English, our waiter, Luis (originally from Venezuela, but resident in Spain for 15 years) was very helpful and attentive. We had very lightly seared tuna loin with green onions and a garlic-wine sauce, a vegetable medley with zucchini and asparagus, and finally a sole for two, deboned by our waiter. All was very good, both in quality of ingredients and in treatment, as was the house red wine. Well-heeled locals began dropping in after we'd been there for a bit. Altogether, a little pricey, but a very memorable meal and a nice nutritive preparation for spending a day being herded like cattle through various airport cordons on our way back to the states.

Service remarkable, waiter extremely nice and very knowledgeable and honest. The food was extremely good and very innovative, added to the quality of the raw products you end up with a very enjoyable evening. The location is not the best as the surroundings are not the most appealing, definitely worth it though.

Excellent! One of the best Tapa restaurants of Seville. Also has a great wine sellection. Unfortunatelly the sorrounding areas are not attractive...
