It was suppose to be the main center of cultural events in Santiago de Compostela, nowadays is pretty much abandoned, but the main buildings are still operational. However, it keeps being astonishing to look at, and will take at least a couple of hours to fully explore.

From afar it is stunning but once there you realise it is unfinished and not easily accessible. The signage is useless so you are not quite sure which car park is best for you, there are several. The slopes and distance from the car park make for a dangerous place for someone on a wheelchair.

It just makes me sad to see such a waste of money and resources at this massive scale. The architecture is impressive, but the scheme is oversized for what it is and where it is. We were the two of us in the museum on a saturday afternoon.

I'm sure that in a couple of years this place will be worth visiting. Nowadays it's just an experiment.
