Wilmington Railroad Museum

Absolute unfriendly unhelpful front desk people what don't let you in an hour prior to closing and and when a party have to use the restroom that old grumpy man dosent even bother to give us the information that the visitor center down that eile has public restroom. Unexaptable behavior I guess that man is to sure about his job or don't care about.....

This museum is very cool. There are several historical railroad exhibits, amazing detailed model train layouts and even toys for the younger kids to play with. Dave, who works there on Thursdays, made the visit even more fun.

Great place!!! I loved it as a kid, now I'm bringing my nephew here. Good fun.

Awesome museum to stop in for a while. Not a whole day event, but there are plenty of cool exhibits and our little one loves it. Don't forget to go in the caboose out front.

Took three kids (5-7) here while on vacation. It was okay but in my opinion a little overpriced. They have a full-size locomotive, box car and caboose to explore, two model layouts with lots of buttons for the kids to explore and a small history hall. Everything was well done but the history hall wasn't interesting to the young kids.

Parking is also a little confusing as the lot is shared with the hotel next door. Worth a visit if you're passing through and interested in rail history.
