Unimpressed with this cinema. Came with high expectations, as like independent cinemas doing things a bit differently.
Main issue generally was pricing. Great idea having a bar and being able to take drinks in, but would never do it again. Charged £8 for a very small glass of wine. A couple of gin and tonics were £12. Add in tickets and popcorn, and the whole trip was £50.
Chairs were reasonably comfortable, but elevation isn't high enough, so bottom quarter of screen obscured by person in front.
Also far too hot.

A shame as it's good to have a independent cinema near the city centre, but the value for money is a killer.

Such a lovely cinema! You have a coffee shop inside and comfy sofas, what more could you desire? The Student card is super convenient, too, I think.

The Cameo is a friendly and traditional cinema. No Imax or 3D and a little more expensive than multi-screen cinemas but it's comfortable and welcoming. You can catch Indy and Blockbuster movies and it definitely has character.

A great antidote to the multiplex. It's technically not as good as the big cinemas but it has a lot of character and the people who go here want to watch a film. You won't get many kids using Facebook during your film. :)

It is part cinema and part cafe, I f you know what I mean. You just have a coffee and chill or grab a coffee and see a film. Two small cinemas and the larger theatre of Screen 1 are all great and the big screen is vintage cinema seating as it was in the old days. Lovely place.
