Facaccio bread to die for, excellent seafood pasta, ask for chilli if you like it spicy! Lovely pizza too but do lamb, chicken etc also. Always friendly and very reasonably priced. Had a bit of a refurb and looking good.

I assume is the owner couldn't have been more pleasant. You could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. Would certainly recommend and would return should we be in the area again.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more friendly and welcoming establishment in Downend than Italb. We've only been a few times but the people there make you feel like you're family. And I haven't mentioned the food! If you're after genuine Italian atmosphere and wonderful dishes then look no further. A little bit of the best of real Italy in Bristol.

This is the second time I have been here. Last was over 2yrs ago. Ran by the same people and still the same excellent food. Exceptionally good value too. I reckon they could easily get away with charging at least that a couple of pounds more each dish!
Since the original time, the decor and seating has been much improved. Also more staff which sped up serving a lot. I guess they've done well enough over that time to reinvest back in.
I would go back without hesitation.
