Very well cooked food, tasted great, reasonable speed of service, staff slightly aloof, portion size on the small side, cutlery arrived slightly grubby, great decor, nice atmosphere - not too crowded and well amplified music.

Booked a table for a birthday meal and restaurant called two hours before the booking to say they where not opening until 4pm not good service at all avoid this restaurant at all costs they don't value customers !!!

I used to love this place so it pains and saddens me to write this and I hope the comments are taken constructively. This was a real favourite and used regularly. The people are lovely the food was excellent and the ambiance was spot on - then the re fit. Oh dear! -what on earth possessed them? People are still lovely - the food is OK but the ambiance was completely destroyed. Now looks and feels like a take away and not a comfortable place to spend any time. My advice would be to put it back to how it was ASAP. People will return.
