This is one of my favorite places to go for a full body massage, top to toe pampering as well as great make up and beauty tips. The owner, Louise, is adorable and we have often used her for doing mine and my models make up for shows. Fantastic beauty salon and well worth a regular visit

Dissapointed... i had a file and paint manicure and a express pedicure. The pedicure was fine and my toes do look nice, tho upclose arnt perfect. my fingernails unfortantly not so good, the colour was not put on very thickly and were gaps were there was no paint at all. i have now re painted my finger nails as i was that dissapointed and didnt want to show my friends. also every place ive been before they give the colour to take home with you, this was not the case and i have been to buy a matching colour. lots of other people seem to rate the place so mayb i just got unlucky.

Having trained in beauty therapy, i felt some of the practices performed were unhygienic and potentially a health risk. She created no atmosphere and i didn't feel relaxed, in fact i felt she didn't want to engage with me at all and thrust magazines into my lap. The finish was badly done, with polish left on my toes and she failed to get me into my flip flops before beginning to paint and as a result the polish smudged. A small touch i know but makes a big difference. It was all a bit of a shambles, and didn't last the full hour, so much so that half way through the treatment she knocked the trolley to the floor and went off giggling with the receptionist. All in all not worth £45

A group of 6 of us visited Tranquility in the City for a hen do and were not disappointed. Having opted for the Silver package we each got two treatments – the facials and back massages were a favourite!
The salon closed while we were there so that we got the place to ourselves and the staff were really friendly, the whole atmosphere is really relaxed and they were so helpful, even recommending a club to go to that night.
All in all this a really nice, boutique-style salon with great service, good value for money and lovely treatments using professionally recognised products – was great for a relaxing start to a hen weekend. It’s also surrounded by free parking!
