Went there on a whim as I live close by and never tried it. Quite enjoyable as we were the only couple in there. Food was nice and service excellent. My only bit of criticism was the lager. San Miguel was on tap and tasted tinny as if the pipes needed cleaning. £50 the bill which is more expensive than Miller and Carter. Worth a visit.

I booked a table for 30 people for my parents 25th wedding anniversary. when we turned up we were advised that the restaurant had been taken over and was under new management which we hadnt been told even though we booked the night month in advance. So we were worried that as it was their first night there will be problems.

The service at the start was slow but the manageress was so lovely, she apologised for the previous owners and really made the whole family feel comfortable.

The food was really nice, especially the lamb & mousakka.

There was traditional greek music whilst we were eating and after the manageress got us all up doing some greek dancing late into the night, then a disco.

All in all we had a fantastic night and I will definately be coming back soon.

“Absolutely fantastic!”
I went to this lovely restaurant last weekend on Friday night with some colleagues for dinner and we ordered off the party menu which was on offer at £17.95.
I enjoyed everything, from the second we entered the restaurant the manager was very polite and the members of staff took care of us very well. On enjoying the food, the starters were out of this world delightful and even though we had to wait a little too long for the main course, once it arrived I was very pleased with its decor and worm ambiance!
Live Greek music on stage and entertainment latter on did the icing on the cake for the rest of the evening.
I did go on the dancing floor to...well if the others can do the disco so can I....
lol

Zorbas was a very nice restaurant. A group of us went there a few nights ago for a Hen Party and they were all so lovely. The food was fantastic as well as the atmosphere, the staff, the entertainment .. completely lovely! But alcohol wise, it was rubbish. We were drinking cocktails and you could not taste alcohol in them at all, it was like drinking pop. I think it's a great place to go for a nice meal because the food is to die for but if its an occasion where you want great drinks, this is not the place.

APARTMENT 201 is one of Birmingham’s latest bar/restaurant to open its doors in near the Arcadian Centre.

I have read it is being tipped as a "chic" and "modern" bar restaurant which owners are hoping will appeal to hip young theatre goers frequenting the nearby Hippodrome Theatre and Glee Club. Well I can certainly agree with this from our visit.

We recently decided that after a show at Birmingham’s Hippodrome we would call by to see what all the fuss was about. We had thought to ask locals directions, but need not of worried as we came straight out the theatre and into apartment201 within seconds! We were lucky enough to be greeted at the door by Warren the owner of the restaurant, who after a little chat about the theatre took us to our table and brought over our drinks.

I order the British fish and chips from his recommendation, and my wife had the sea bass fillet. To be honest I was a little worried post ordering fish and chips, but I need not of worried as it was like no fish and chips I have tested before. The fish was soft and light and complimented perfectly with tartar sauce and my weak spot some freshly made and seasoned mushy peas! The chips were also some of the best chips I have ever tasted, they were large chunky and uniquely flavoured, I did ask what the secret was, but I think I need to pay a few more visits before I am shared that information! My wife never said a word though her meal, a great sign she is enjoying her food, and indeed she did. She had me taste the lime and caper dressing supplied with her fish, and I can tell you it’s now my next meal of choice here!

If your in Birmingham and want to go for a meal with your wife, girlfriend or friends to a uniquely almost out of London venue, then pay a visit to apartment 201, you will not be disappointed.
