Originally the experience was pleasant, nice location, nice facility. Until I received FIVE same emails from them in one afternoon. Even after I clicked unsubscribed button, I received another SIX spam emails only a few days after, also in one day. Avoid online booking!
[Update 31/10/2017] Two weeks after clicking Unsubscribe button, I still receive an email from them today. Exactly the same one!

In August 2016 we did a pre-paid booking for 25 gents for bowling, but only 13 showed up. We asked for a refund, but this was refused, and we were given bowling vouchers of an equivalent value for what we had bought, against my wishes, but I was told this was company policy, even though that is not legally correct to have such a policy, as a consumer is entitled to a refund under British law if they are unhappy with the service provided. We then had two games at that time, but both lanes suffered technical faults which kept interrupting play. I kept the vouchers, worth £67.50, but then found in February this year they had expired. I wrote to Hollywood Bowl via the contact form on their website, and asked for a refund. Someone wrote back to ask me which bowling alley it was, and I confirmed it was the Broadway Plaza. I then heard nothing, then I chased it again in March. I then heard nothing again. So it's time for a 1-star review. Perhaps someone will contact me. I'd love my £67.50 back. Who knows?

So, If you require any help there's no point calling the Small Asian girl member of staff over - she failed to understand the problem with the pin machine and just walked away... so thanks for that.
Although 5 stars for the bowling and arcade machines.
Would attend again because it's all about the people you go with.
