Thoroughly enjoyed our four night say here. Room although very basic, was comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean. Water for bath or shower was always red-hot, beautiful towels, no bath mats though Public areas of hotel, again spotless. Breakfast was help yourselves but a good choice, all the staff throughout were polite, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again

The rooms are standard Travelodge and the location is good. Paying for parking is a hidden charge but what really let this place down was the restaurant - the bar staff were good and friendly but the service was incredibly slow. Over an hour to get 2 courses in a quiet restaurant is poor. An old friend once told me that if you're not sure what to have then go with fish and chips, nobody can spoil that. This place proves him wrong! Everything was overcooked and the fish almost tasteless and solid. I'd go again but would eat out

Really liked this Travelodge. I stayed in the new super rooms which was on the top floor. The rooms were excellent. They have a really nice bar and restaurant. Definitely a cut above the other travelodges. Will be staying here again definitely.

Magnificent hotel to stay in. Staff so so friendly. Bar open til 2am. Room was spotlessly clean and smelled fresh. Beds were very comfortable. Room had an excellent view. I recommend asking for room 217. Walk to the city centre is only 10 mins. Will stay here again!

Good value and nice and central. Friendly and helpful staff. Food and drink served at the bar until 2am. Would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere not too expensive to stop over for a night. Parking for 24 hours is £6 so really good value for money.
