Simple Noah's Ark Themed Mini Hotel
Rooms: Rooms are small but have the essentials. Acoustics could be better though.
Location: Super convenient on Xinyi Road and 5 minute walk from Dong Men MRT station. Walking distance to Yong Kong Street area and the world famous Ding Tai Fung (right across the street).

Great location for a reasonable price. Clean rooms. Good bathroom. Bedroom a little bit too small. Room had windows, but the view was really bad, so we kept the curtains closed the entire time.
Very noisy because of construction work.

The hotel itself has been recently renovated, and it has a modern look in the lobby & rooms. The location of the hotel is A+, you can see the Taipei 101 from the main road next to the hotel, and the MRT exits are really near the hotel too. With the MRT line you can get to Taipei 101 and all the other main areas of Taipei quite quickly. No worries that the hotel isn't in the most popular market areas or so. Near the hotel is small scale night market area full of locals, and with SO many restaurants! No need to be hungry hear! The few souvenir shops in this night market I found a slightly cheaper than nearby Taipei 101 or other areas.
The hotel staff was so nice, helped with any questions I had, helped me to get to other places in Taiwan (checked the transportation etc), and they give you a local neighborhood map for the restaurants. Great place, will definitely go again!

Very nice facilities. Rooms are not sound proof and I would prefer a stairway access to my room. But get a window room, those without are bad.

Room was adequately sized and the bed extremely comfortable. Shower a bit temperamental but works just fine. Great friendly service w/ 24hr reception.
