Disappointing food. Tasteless, waiter arguing when he got our feedback. Ran away after the starter. Place only for tourists

The service and dishes are not outstanding, but quite decent. Prices are decent as well. The location (former Turkish-style inn) is pretty cool though and it's because of this that it's worth a visit.

Great dinner place. The courtyard is beautiful. I liked the outdoor seating. The lamb meatballs and the mici were delicious. The chocolate cake with drunken cherries was not my favorite, but the main meal was awesome.

Very good food and dessert- definitely order the donuts! A good, welcoming ambiance in a historic area of Bucharest, has an English menu. Recommend dressing a bit better than your most casual street clothing to fit in. The staff may seem a bit reserved or cold to American guests who are used to waiters asking them about their experience every 10 minutes, but provided decent, quite fast service. As to vegetarian options- the Greek salad is very good and several menu items could be asked to be modified to be vegetarian.

This is a must see for tourist. One of a kind restaurant that boasts rich history, live music, traditional food and great service in the heart of the old town. Reservations are recommended. The menu is written in both English and Romanian. Inside the menu you will also find the history of the place. For those of you familiar with Trader Joe's flyer....the jokes in the menu are very similar. The food is quite good and true to traditional recipes.
