Excellence truly does live up to their name - my husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Excellence - Rivera Cancun for 10 days. We were overwhelmed by the amazing service, quality services, delicious food, endless activities, etc - we felt like royalty!
Special thanks go out to Alejandra J. for making us feel so welcomed and loved. Her kind spirit and helpful nature truly made us feel at home

Great all-inclusive resort! After staying at other all-inclusive resorts, ERC exceeded all expectations. Only left resort for a day trip. Excellent value. Service was exceptional! I will return.

Came here for our honeymoon, coming back now 2 years later. Really nice place! The hydrotherapy at the Mile spa is absolutely wonderful. great selection of restaurants. If you like all inclusive this place is definitely worth a go!

This is only my second all-inclusive experience ever, but it's definitely my favorite. The rooms were stunning, the food was excellent, there was a wider than expected variety of drinks to choose from, and service was great at every turn. I definitely recommend visiting the spa.
Only reason for -1 star was they didn't have the type of room I'd booked available when I arrived, but I was able to switch the second day. Another couple we talked to had the same experience, so I'm thinking they oversell the king rooms and hope people settle for the 2 queens.

Only two days into our trip, but it's far surpassed my wildest expectations. Food is amazing, drinks are amazing (and free-flowing) the scenery is spectacular, the room is breath taking, the beach is straight out of your stereotypical dream beach setting. My only real complaint is lack of beer selection, there's only one pale ale at the resort, and they're out of stock. Other reviewers complaint about sea grass on the beach, which there is, but they have an entire staff dedicated to beach combing, and it's not intolerable or unexpected. My wife and I couldn't have picked a better honeymoon spot, and we're already half joking about when we're coming back. 10/10 would recommend

Edit: Its been one year, and we're back at Excellence Riviera Cancun for our one year anniversary. It seems like only yesterday we were here, and its still absolutely dreamlike. I can't see us ever going to another resort, because how does one improve upon perfection? It is absolute paradise.
