I purchased a voucher from Fave to try out the 2-Hour Professional Skin Treatment with Hot Stone Aromatherapy Back Massage as there were a lot of positive comments/reviews but it was such a DISAPPOINTING experience (redeemed the session at Pearl Shopping Gallery branch) & certainly DO NOT recommend it to anyone.The therapist is SO occupied up selling the add on treatments (top up serum, masks, eye treatment) even before the session started!!!
She almost forget the eye treatment (in exchange for back massage as the masseur was away) until I reminded her at the end of the session, She then gave me a "so called eye massage" as eye treatment just by using the leftover moisturizer that she uses to apply on my face at the end of the session together with my eyeliner that was no removed properly during the cleansing session, which left me with black stained at my lower eyelid. I only realized it when I looked at the mirror at end of the session that I need to ask her can you give something to wipe off the eyeliner stained. Throughout the whole session, there was no damp cotton pad placed on my eyes to protect my eyes - just imaging how it feels when the bright fluorescent light directed on your face during the extraction - OUCH. No sure whether is this a new practices/SOP during facial that I am not aware/encounter of or probably it is something that is done differently in Celmonze The Signature. In addition, I did not received the shoulder massage with avocado oil & the 2nd face mask application as stated in the Fave voucher, reasoning being is from the therapist "yours is just a basic facial". Is that true that a 'basic facial' does not even include a minimal shoulder massage even if it is clearly stated in the package I have purchased???
