I've been here three times on two separate trips and it still amazes me how good the ramen is. This place is an absolute must if you are in the Golden Gai area and love fishy, salty ramen.

I've never tasted anything like this. So unique. If you like fishy flavours, this is a really amazing dish. The noodles were also very unique chunky and chewy handmade noodles. So delicious.

One of the nicer places for noodle soup in the golden gai neighbour hood. The place is small, so need to line up outside. Once inside, buy meal ticket from vending machine and give to chef then take a seat at bar. Delicious noodles with a few toppings and an egg on top. The soup base was tasty.

I will say this now. This is some of the best ramen in tokyo. Sardine and pork broth wit h thick noodles it will cure that hangover and and put some pep in your step. Staff are very nice but the stairs are a bit steep.

Sardine based broth, not too fishy and has a pretty rich flavor that isn't too salty either. Noodles are thick and chewy. The egg is perfectly cooked also.
The restaurant itself is very cool, super tiny space and I felt like a hobbit entering the staircase. Come early in the morning as there is no wait. Staff is also help.
Only thing I can say that is that I was you got more pork.
