Great service, lots of selections and interesting seasonal items. I love the snack area but it's always so busy!

Today I went to Costco Amagasaki with my husband and two of our friends because we wanted to show them around the store . When we arrived to the entrance my husband showed his members card to the staff and she in a very rude way said that only 3 of us could get inside the store, because for every members card only 3 people are allowed to get in, the thing that we didn't know.
But what we knew was that there's something called "one day entrance" so we were queueing for a while and when we finally talked to another staff he asked for my residence card and I explained to him that I just have my old one because I'm waiting for my new ID. He told me I wasn't allowed to get inside so he asked for the ID of my Japanese friend and after showing him the ID he told us we need to Sign up and pay the fee. They insisted to only let 3 people get people inside even though it was already 7:30pm! So to cut the story short, I didn't get inside and waited until our friends and my husband were finished shopping. Really poor customer service. I was very patient with the staff even though I was so pissed off because of how they treated us. � � �

Great if you live here and also fun if you're visiting to see what Costco offers in Japan. Having a slice of pizza or a hotdog is a must for expats missing a bit of home.

One of the famous wholesale US series located at Japan. You can buy many items with low price. More important, many imported goods can be found only there

Great place for purchasing meats, vegetables and body soap / shampoo in large quantities for a relatively low price. Not everything works out cheaper in the end, but overall a good saving can be had as long as you are savvy and price compare to the usual supermarkets. Access is not easy if you don't have a car, plus Costco provides no carry bags. The savings made on buying goods in large quantities easily covers the annual membership fee.
Staff here are friendly and helpful. Costco provides an adequate range on goods, however they do push their "Kirkland" brand. An illustration is you cannot buy Bailey's Irish cream, but you can buy the Kirkland equivalent.
