An ultra modern, yet beautifully traditional hotel in a great location. Rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were super friendly. Worth every cent for a traditional experience with a little bit of luxury.

Excellent hotel with a very contemporary interior based on a classic Kyoto street. The guest floors literally look like old style Kyoto. Service is impeccable.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service.
Concierge helped us book another place, gave us map and all instructions before we left.
Do not book through Agoda if you have kids as they will not be included in booking (hence cheaper rates).

Spectacular hotel! Beautiful modern Japanese style! They provide complimentary electric bikes! What a wonderful surprise! And the breakfast was just fantastic! The whole experience was a perfect start to our first time in Japan. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night!
