The best wild park in Rome, it looks like you are in the countryside while you are just few minutes from the colosseum.

Rent a bike and have a great time. Appian road is also near.

Huge park in the city center, offers diverse locations, including views of Roman ruins, Rome ancient city walls, etc. Has a dedicated area for dogs. It's a perfect place to walk, jog, do biking or simply relax. Although in recent years the keeping of the place has been dramatically improved, some benches around the park have unfortunately been vandalized, and it's not always easy finding a place to sit.

We honestly didn't visit it exhaustively: it was just the day we visited the catacumbs next door. Just beware one thing in summer. People usually go by bus and the return frequency is ver low (something like one in an hour) and there is no shadow while waiting!

Very nice place, but I highly recommend getting s tour of the catacombs, it is very interesting, and slightly spooky
