No authentic Spanish food /not good quality/ no beer serve / nice staff and restaurant.
As Spanish, I expected authentic Spanish food, but it wasn't.
The Chorizo al vino (chorizo cooked with red wine) was PEPPERONI in red wine, that was dissapointing and expensive.
I asked the Spanish waitress what type of chorizo that was, she said she'd ask to the chef, but she never came back with an answer. Probably cause it was PEPPERONI.
Bacon Croquets had no bacon and the patatas bravas were cheaps with garlic sauce and tomato, when it should only have spicy tomato sauce but it did not.
Overall, nice place buy not authentic Spanish food.
The Spanish Restaurant Tapas de Lola has same prices and is authentic.

Great food, abysmal service. Myself and my boyfriend visited La Bodega for dinner. Our food was fantastic. However our service was not. Our water glasses were not refilled once dying our visit. After placing our orders we did not see our waitress for over an hour. We were left with dirty plates for at least 20 minutes and were left waiting another 25 to order dessert which we had to do by checking the dessert offering on the website as nobody came near us to ask if we wanted to see the menu. This is despite the fact that the waitress who had taken our dinner order was in the dining room and we had gotten her attention twice which she acknowledged but still never bothered to actually stop by our table. We eventually received our dessert from another member of staff.
I tried to complain about our absent waitress to the manager on duty but he was more interested in talking over me while I tried to explain what had happened. He was kind enough to eventually take our wine and dessert off our bill, but I'm afraid the long wait and rude staff still put a dampener on the evening. The place appears to fall apart as soon as the owner leaves for the evening.
Would not go back as there are many other tapas restaurants in Dublin with equally good food and much better service.

I love La Bodega. Food is always good and excellent service. I have recommended it to lots of people and they have all loved it too.

Wet Sunday, arrived late and solo diner. Staff very pleasant and efficient, the range of food and wine's very good. Very enjoyable meal overall, and would certainly return again.
