Sehr nette Rezeption. Sauberkeit allgemein lässt zu wünschen übrig. Zimmer extrem ekelig. Teppich hat verschiedenste Flecken, aus dem Fenster kann man nicht mehr sehen und die Dusche wollte ich erst gar nicht benutzen. Komischer Geruch und die Bettwäsche hatte einen eigenartigen Stoff. Standort war OK, aber man hört die vorbeifahren Autos so, als hätte man sein Fenster offen. Frühstücksbuffet war OK, der Service allerdings sehr unfreundlich. Als Notlösung ist dieses Hotel gerade so geeignet, Ansonsten nicht zu empfehlen..

I have stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are very old and need renovation. The beds are like the whole room 25 years old. The rooms are directly on a two-pillar road

The restaurant is awesome. Try the super BIG Grillteller ! Plus nice wines and draft beers.

The carpet was in pretty bad condition, no soap was in the soap dispenser, and the promised "fruit plate" on the day of arrival was nowhere to be seen. The room I had faced the road and because the windows were somewhat old they didn't block the noise very well. Not a big problem for me but I guess some people might not like that. There's a "no smoking" sign at the entrance of the hotel, yet there was a strong smell of smoke in the air in the hallway of the floor my room was located on - no idea where it came from though.
On the plus side, the hotel is located within walking distance from Marienplatz (something like a downtown area in Mönchengladbach), the staff is very friendly, and rates for the rooms are absolutely affordable. Very nice: the eggs from the breakfast buffet were not hard-boiled. Other than that, the buffet was okayish.
Would stay again due to the low room price and the location though.
