Good Hamburg style German food like your mum would have used to make, if she was German from Hamburg. Friendly staff, good beer.

Food and service were really nice. If you are looking for genuine German food with pleasant service this is the place for you.

I was told about this restaurant by a waiter from another restaurant, he said try it out, reall German cusine at a price you'd be happy to pay. We tried it out last night, Sunday, I'd advise booking as it is rather small, but cozy, warm, fluffy feeling. Service was great, they have an English written menu which helps as we don't speak or read German. Food was to die for, couldn't belive all the complex flavours shining through, gastranome's delight. Wine list fair; tap and bottled beer. I had a beautiful experience and will go back before leaving Germany. Price: I would have willingly paid more, 2 mains, 2 wines, 1 beer about €40. :-)
