Staff was extremely attentive and room was very clean. Location felt a little sketchy but it aas close to the train and attractions.

Good chain hotel. Rooms are modern and clean. Bathroom is a little strange, with glass walls, yet a lock on the door :-). The glass is obscured, but the wall mirror is placed so as to ensure anyone on the bed can't help see into the bathroom, bizarre.
The shower is large and effective though the aircon is a bit feeble.
Breakfast buffet was good quality and well organised. Boiling water for tea was available, as were machines to make coffee. Breakfast was however popular and busy, so 8am to 10am was a little crowded, though they coped and refreshed the buffet regularly.
The hotel looks a bit dated from the outside, though it's much better inside. It is a 15min walk from the railway station through a fairly tired part of Cologne.

Great location, rooms are decent, customer service however is very disappointing. Stayed 2 nights. The AC didn't work, hotel promised a technician would take care of it the next day. Nothing was done and no follow up. Second day again raised AC issue. told technician didn't work weekends (they could have told us the previous day) , given option to change rooms - too much work when we were leaving the next morn. Discovered afterwards I had left a necklace in the room on departure, informed hotel, hotel agreed to get back after checks. No follow up. I eventually emailed to check up, hotel confirmed nothing found. Birthday necklace lost forever. Lesson: don't trust the hotel either to keep their word or to safe keep left behind valuables. Disappointing.
