The location of this hostel can't be beat. So close to the U and S trains and even to explore nearby there is so much to do. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. They are renovating the common room. We will have to come back to enjoy it when it is finished.

Most of all very bad : the staff is not helping or arranging at all (you have absolutely to pay everything on arrival even if one of the person from the group is arriving a little later...).
At no moment they try to help you discover Berlin or make you feel at home.
The toilets are dirty, there is no washing machine, the beds are unconfortable, they make you pay for linens (!!!)
And for all of that it is 28€/p/night for a shared 5 person dorm !!!
So stay in the neighborhood (amazing) but avoid U Inn!

The Bottom bunks are too short and I have smacked my head a few times, but I'm 6ft 3 so take that with a grain of salt. Besides that the Ros are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The lounge was being renovated so I can't really speak on the atmosphere. Not far from a metro station about 5 mins to the station then just 5 stops from City center

One of the coziest hostels I have ever been!! All the rooms are very clean and spacious and the kitchen makes you feel like home.
The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. Thanks to them I explored some really great spots in Berlin.
Due to its perfect location in the heart of Friedrichshain, you will also find nice bars, restaurants and clubs within walking distance.
The next time in Berlin I will definitely come back to U Inn Hostel!! :-)
