The guys that run and own this place are awesome and are very experienced in the trade. The class is set up as a bar so you get hands on experience and their explanations with techniques as to why and how to balance drinks is something that I will be using for years to come. They also give an interesting overview of certain alcohols history and how the alcohols are made.

I had the opportunity to take a 2 week course at Brandywine in September, and I must say, it was a great experience. Dave & Geoff are very knowledgeable, each have their own unique teaching styles which balance well. There is a lot of information to take in, including classic & modern cocktails, beer, wine etc. This is great for those looking to work in the industry or those simply looking to expand their cocktail knowledge. Worth every penny, highly recommend.

I've been there for a team building event "Cocktail Wars" and one of their normal classes "Modern Cocktail Classes". Both were amazing. Dave and Jeff are such good teachers and bartenders. They are very good at instructing you in the art of their craft; they have really innovative cocktail ideas; they make/infuse their own ingredients (bitters, smoked alcohols!, etc); and most importantly they are really great guys.
Highly recommend them for a team building event, one off cocktail classes, actual bartending school, or even your own private event (stagette, birthday, whatever).

Whether you're looking to get a start on a bartending career, or have experience and skills that you are looking to improve on, Brandywine Bartending School is the place to go. I completed the industry certificate and it has improved my skills and knowledge ten fold. Dave and Geoff are both really knowledgable and have created a great space that gives you opportunity for hands on learning in a real bar setting. I came into this course with about a year of bartending experience, with the only other person in the class being fresh to bartending they were able to tailor the course to the experience level of both students so that we both walked away learning as much as possible. Throughout the course, as well as after completing the course they have been a great at helping me source out places of potential employment, and even went as far as providing me with a reference and have gone out of their way to inform me of positions that they felt I would be suitable for. I can't thank Dave and Geoff enough for all they have taught me and done for me. Money very well spent! If you want to learn how to bartend in Vancouver these are the guys!!!!!
