I used to frequent this restaurant three years ago. They have since changed their menu and decreased portion sizes significantly, considering the prices. However, the food tastes amazing. Be prepared for a bit of wait for food to arrive at the table.

Menu is diverse and the food and drinks are great. Location being in the heart of the Byward Market is quite nice and the service was decent, but the interior/atmosphere is rather forgettable and boring. Overall, I'd say it's a bit overpriced, but the free birthday entree makes it worth it.
Update: Wish I could give it a 3.5. I really like the food and drinks, but the apps are definitely not worth it quite over priced for being lower quality than your average pub.

Had a nice Sunday evening dinner - arrived by myself and had my gf join my shortly after.. sat at the bar. Nick and Josh were taking care of us and they were awesome. Good recommendations, had a new glass in front of me as I finished my last - 3/3. Chatted about sports and local events. Had some great laughs. This is what ppl want when they come in and are looking for service. Showing customers a little more character than what's required to take an order. Be positive, be friendly and be helpful. All in spades. See you next time!

I was there with a conference, the organizers booked the whole place for the attendees. Food was buffet style and was just alright. Was kind of a odd variety. Steak was on the rare side which was fine with me, but not for a lot in the group.
