Strange location, but one of the best charcuterie boards my husband and I have ever had. Very friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere.

I had never heard of this place but bought a Groupon for it. The prices are fair and the food is EXCELLENT! I was d.d. so no whisky for me but my boyfriend tried a few different ones. We don't know much about whisky but the chart on their menu helped to pick brands with a flavor profile he would like. The waitress was very friendly but not intrusive. Cozy environment and wasn't very busy. This place is definitely a hidden gem and I will absolutely go back.

We consistently have a great experience at The Bothy. The room is cozy and casual, but even when packed still comfortable. The service is fantastic: they're extremely knowledgable about the wines, spirits and food available but not pretentious... you really feel like a guest in their home. The Scotch selection is second to none (try a flight!), their wine is varied and plentiful and the food is generally very good (particularly the charcuterie plates). I highly recommend The Bothy for a romantic night out or for time with a group of friends.

Don't tell anyone how great this place is. Brilliant whiskey selection, of course, but also the menu and service will keep you coming back time and again. It's a small room, though - so again - don't tell anyone about it.

Definitely a gem in Edmonton for an amazing selection of scotch, and a nice quiet spot for dinner dates - especially with friends. The staff always make great suggestions for new drinks to try, and the food is always fantastic.
