Only stayed for one night but could easily stay for longer. Loads to do around the Blaarmeersen park itself and it's only a 5 minute drive into Ghent centre. Clean facilities and good pitches. Onsite restaurant is good and value for money, onsite shop is well stocked.

Good site in a good location but take a long electric hook up lead.
The location itself is great and connections into the city are fab.

Showers and bathrooms were clean. I stayed with a group in one of the four person huts, which were adequate for the time I was in Gent.

We stayed there for a night last week, and we had many bad experience.
1. The ground is not clean and flat, so we even don't know where to put the tent. The grass is very messy and dirty. BTW, we found a big mushroom as handball.
2. They don't take care the bush well. My husband hurt his toes by blackberry thorn.
3. We asked the price when we call, but the price is more expensive when we checked in with the same situation. Maybe there is something wrong during the phone communication, but it makes me feel uncomfortable. When I complained to them, they just figure out they even forget to count our one tent price. Anyway, you should be careful if they count the price correct. They can change all the time.
4. There are 6 toilets for girls, but three of them are out of service. When I argue with the reception, she is surprise for this information. Let me feel they don't care the environment a lot.
5. Dish washer room is not available after 10pm, but they didn't write this information on the door. the door is still open after 10pm, but the light is no more on.
6. Spider web and small spiders are everywhere in the toilet and shower room, and even the spider just make the spider web cross the boy's toilet door.
7. You are not able to go shower after 11pm.
8. We give up to use the WiFi since it's very slow.
9. The big road is very close to the camping site, so it's noise all the night in the tent.
